How To Realize Your Potential
Classes Content Image

Discover what is holding you back from being the best you can be and learn the tools to correct the block.

“Potential is … dormant ability … reserved power … untapped strength … unused success … hidden talents … capped ability. All you can be but have not yet become … all you can do but have not yet done … how far you can reach but have not yet reached … what you can accomplish but have not yet accomplished. Potential is unexposed ability and latent power.”

Every human being, regardless of race, gender or spiritual belief, has the incredible capacity to accomplish far beyond what they think their limits are. In this class you will explore how to realize your potential in a free form, creative way. You will learn:

  • How to find your deepest passion
  • How to do and be your best
  • How to break those self-imposed limitations
  • How to push your limits, learn your own impossible and push that even further
  • How to discover your talents and gifts

"Deep within man dwell those slumbering powers; powers that would astonish him, that he never dreamed of possessing; forces that would revolutionize his life if aroused and put into action."  - Orison Marden

The class will be led by Orin Davis, Ph.D., the first person to earn a Doctorate in Positive Psychology in the US. He runs The Quality of Life Lab where investigations focus on what enables people to do and be their best (self-actualization) – in terms of their best experiences (flow), their best performances (creativity), the development of their best selves (mentoring), and the state in which their best is most accessible (hypnosis).

Dr. Davis is an Adjunct Professor in the department of Psychology at City University of New York, Baruch College and a Lecturer at UMass Boston.
